History of KIHEUNG Machinery that started in 1986
The history of more than 50 years was possible thanks to thorough technological development.

• 1968 KIHEUNG machinery works founded
• 1976 Developed the Knee-type milling machine
• 1989 ‌KIHEUNG Foundry Co., established
  Started to exhibit EMO exhibition
• 1990 Developed the U series universal machining center
• 1995 The current plant (20,000m2) relocated in Daejeon, Korea
• 1996 Certified from TUV Rheinlan, Germany
• 2003 ISO 9001 certified
• 2004 Double column machining center, MiMAX was developed
• 2006 Developed column travel Boring & Machining Center, HiTRAX
• 2008 Developed fixed bed,
  column travel Boring & Machining center, RiGiTRAX
• 2009 Was awarded $20 million export prize from government
• 2010 Developed column travel Boring & Machining center, WiNGTRAX
• 2018 Developed Universal Head S5 (0.001°)
• 2020 New KIHEUNG strategy
  To be the top of the world class qualified manufacturere.
• 2023 Started supply to DOOSAN Energy Co., Ltd.
